The quality of goods and the service we provide
to our customers are our first priority. David Russo Pty Ltd
is committed to food safety and to strict HACCP plan in accordance
with Codex Guidelines. We are HACCP accredited and we adhere
and have meticulous quality control procedures, to ensure
consistency with the quality of produce provided.
To maintain the quality requirements demanded
by our HACCP Quality System, great importance is directed
at our Approved Supplier Program. Growers are regularly audited
and spray diaries are inspected to ensure only registered
crop protection chemicals are used and used correctly. Also
we require our suppliers to comply with our commitment to
quality and safety.
We also place great importance on traceability,
to accurately identify products in the event of a product
recall. Traceability is considered essential as it identifies
growers ensuring their produce is of the highest quality.
In accordance with our HACCP Quality System;
- All quality control equipment is maintained
and calibrated. Temperature control is very important to
ensure shelf life of our products.
- Warehouse, stand and cool rooms are kept
cleaned and sanitized with food grade detergents (MSDS available).
- Premise is rodent free and maintained by
Bug Stop Industrial Exterminators regularly.
- Staff is required to be clean, neat and observe
general rules of hygiene.
Maintaining a good relationship with our growers
and our strong commitment to our HACCP Quality System guarantees
quality produce.
